Timing In The Market Is Everything!

When it comes to making money in the market, timing is everything. No one refutes that fact. Buy low and sell high, the order of operation is unimportant. The market is also unimportant, whether stocks, real estate, commodities, whatever. No one has an oracle or crystal ball, so no one is impervious to error. But I believe the writing is on the wall, for a set of circumstances preparing to converge and come to a cataclysmic conclusion. The facts are plain to see for anyone willing to investigate.

I highly recommend any investor and especially any retiree living on a fixed income to pay special attention to the contributing factors of the perfect storm I’m going to describe. The first circumstances to consider are more general, for example, every fiat currency ever created has come to the same worthless conclusion. The lifespan of a fiat currency is typically between 27 and 40 years. The U.S. Dollar has already served as the world’s premier global reserve (fiat) currency for more than 70 years, but numerous countries have grown weary of the dollar’s value and especially the cavalier attitude of its sponsor. Russia and China in particular have already lobbied for its outright replacement, to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The Chinese Yuan is scheduled to become a part of the IMF basket of global reserve currencies, beginning in October. I have not pulled any punches in my reporting of this situation and my concern for the ongoing lobbying by China for the outright replacement of the dollar in that same basket. However, rumblings and leaks from IMF members seem to indicate that an announcement, as early as September 30, 2016, could be made replacing the entire basket of currencies with a single IMF-sponsored world currency. This type of activity is quicker than I had imagined and far more disturbing.

The dollar experienced a currency implosion to varying degrees in 1914, 1939, and 1971. But none of these approximate the potential devastation of this global development. If you weren’t born before 1944, you probably have no idea what it’s like to live in a world where the dollar isn’t the world’s most powerful form of cash. But the benefits you’ve enjoyed and considered a given, could soon be removed and the result could be nothing short of devastating. I’ll keep reporting on this topic, but don’t wait for confirmation to start adding to your precious metals stockpile, because once it’s confirmed demand and prices will skyrocket.
